I’m Racquel, Principal Planner/Owner of Standing Ovations Weddings & Events, LLC. I’m so honored and excited that you have chosen to spend some time getting to know me and my passion for all things grand in the event world!
I want to give you a little bit of history on how I turned my passion for event planning into a thriving wedding and special events planning agency in Georgia. I began my love for event planning at a very young age. As part of my family’s many traditions, a monthly family dinner was held one Sunday per month. My late grandmother, Gertie Pless, planned these wonderful gatherings and at the age of 12, I was in charge of assisting with planning the menu and designing the décor for the tables. My grandmother instilled in me the strong sense of family and celebrating our loved ones. In honor, of my grandmother, I have continued the tradition of celebrating not only the big things in life, but also the small things that sometimes get overlooked.
Over the last 12 years, I have established a reputation of being dependable and trustworthy. I have also maintained an excellent working relationships with many of Georgia’s premiere event vendors. Current and past clients rely on Standing Ovations for our creativity, fresh approach, attention to detail, sensitivity to individual client’s needs, and our insider’s knowledge of event planning.
